Visits & reports

Visit forms let field agents record structured notes on customer visits, and give you the reports. Build the form once, agents fill it in the field, and every submission is searchable by company and agent.

Visit Forms is a Starter add-on and is included on Pro and Scale. You design the form your agents fill in, they submit one per company visit from the agent app, and you read the results as reports in the admin.

i

On Starter and Growth, enable Visit Forms as an add-on from the Billing page. On Pro and Scale it is already active, so you can skip straight to building the form.

Building the form

Open Settings and go to the visit form builder. You define the questions your agents answer on every visit, then enable the form so it appears in the agent app.

Add a field for each thing you want captured. Each field can be one of these types:

Field typeUse it for
TextA short, single-line answer such as a contact name.
MultilineLonger free-form notes about the visit.
SelectA fixed set of options the agent picks from.
DateA calendar date, for example a follow-up date.
File uploadA photo or document attached to the visit.
BooleanA yes or no toggle.
NumberA numeric value such as a shelf count.

Reorder the fields to control the sequence agents see, and enable or disable the whole form at any time. Disabling it hides Visits in the agent app without deleting your fields or past submissions. For where these controls sit alongside your other configuration, see Installation & settings.

Filling in a visit

In the agent app the agent opens Visits, picks the company, fills in the form you built, and submits. The submission is stamped with the agent and the company automatically.

Agents can also see the history of their past visits per company, so they can review what was noted last time before they walk in.

i

Keep the form short. A handful of well-chosen fields gets filled in reliably in the field, while a long form tends to get skipped or half-completed.

Reviewing reports

In the admin, the Visits page lists every submission by company and agent. Open a submission to read the responses in full, including any files an agent attached.

You can export the submissions to CSV to analyse them elsewhere or share them with your team.

Agent targets

Separately from visits, you can set per-agent targets. A target can be revenue, new customers, or a per-category goal, so you can steer each agent toward what matters for your business.

Agents see their progress against target in the agent app. Together, visits and targets give you field visibility: the visits tell you what happened on the ground, and the targets tell you whether each agent is on pace.
